Life is a struggle
the weed that keeps coming back
the dog tied to a chain
the rabbit eaten by the wolf
the soldier flung into the wall of fire
life is a struggle
but struggle it does
because death is the alternative
we resist with all our being
so on goes life
an unstoppable force
ever struggling for another day
another moment
one last breath.
