Sometimes you spot a spot
on shirt or table top
either wet or dry or not
a blot is what you got
Can't make it go away
although you scrub a lot
the spot is permanent
like the stain in the crock pot
But to mark the spot
just take a Marks-a-Lot
and circle round the spot
so the spot won't be forgot
The spot is what you got
whether you like it or not
as lasting as a rock
X forever marks the spot.
