A multiple stabbing has brought the life of Sir David Amess M.P.to an end,

The nation has lost a fine public servant and a much loved friend.

Our hearts are full of grief today,

A nicest person's life has been taken away.

 

An enormous animal lover and true gent,

Killed by a 25 year old with evil intent.

Stabbed at  a constituency surgery in a church at  Lea-on -Sea,

A dark and shocking murder hit's  the whole country.

 

An absolute gentleman and highly respected by all,

A dedicated public servant  for 40 years ,tragically  does fall.

A shocking day for our democracy,an ended life,

Our thoughts go out to his family and  Julia his wife
