Raindrop
The drip of a raindrop
falls off the roof and
lands in the empty flower pot
each drop makes a plunk
like the sound of a frog
leaping from land
into water
the raindrop reverberates
sending out rings of mini waves
watery echoes
that create another world
a pond of thought
which in turn creates a poem
about rain
and pots
and sound.
