72. Poem

Thank you for everything good and bad

Whatever inflicted me

Whatever benefitted me

I'm thankful for everything

An year ago I was crippled

Brokenness defined me

Emptiness measured me

Everything was ailing and painful

An year now wherein we are

I'm grateful that you stayed through it all

I don't doubt your intentions

For I love giving benefit of doubt to others

Everytime I did heal, black magicians tried to unheal

Everytime I was happy, devils conspired to make me unhappy

Who this unworthy people are we both know best

No benefit of doubt is required here

You had your plans and a story

I have my plan and my story

You opted for another, as I didn't fit your autobiography

A future bleak in me to see, only a lay friend to be

I opted out, cos I didn't feel the need to continue

There was a reversal in plots of our stories

The characters got changed and so the setting

Everything required readjustments to continue

I was still a character to be included in yours

As per your need and also of your dear ones

I got sick, you stayed to latent nursing me

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and help, I'm indeed indebted

What do I know, what's my role

So many words you and your people spoke

I'm neither confused, nor doubtful

But nothings working ahead as it's all hidden
