Hamish The Highland Cow

Majestic and regal

roaming free from his fold

Standing beside the lake

unperturbed by the cold

 

Cool, calm and collected

rustic, hardy and strong

With his red rusty frame

and horns pointed and long

 

Hamish the Highland cow

glances as we pass by

Returns to his grazing

in the blink of an eye
