Money Talks!
Can you dig deep into your pockets Mum.
As if this goes to Court, I think I'm done.
I don't think they'll buy my innocent plea.
The odds it seems are stacked against me.
My memory is vague, that picture is fake.
She's just a gold digger, she's on the make.
That's my case, but it's hardly water tight.
So I don't think I could face a justice fight.
I won't take that chance, not worth a try.
What if they hang your son out to dry?
All of our family would share the shame.
It might be impossible to cleanse the stain.
My future be in ruins...the joke of a Nation.
The dirty headlines on every Telly station.
Royal after Royal, would spin in their grave.
So my own skin and reputation I have to save.
But thankfully money talks, thank God I say.
Don't think it's wise, I ask the public to pay!
But in future if I'm charged with such a crime.
If you pay for me now, they can pay next time!

Nice poem, Mike. Sadly, he has brought the whole thing on himself.
