From a basement bunker in Kyiv
she sang the words to “Let it go”
At just seven years old 
little Amelia, put on quite a show 

Her songs kept people entertained 
as their world came crashing down 
Praised for her brave resilience 
as Russians bombed her hometown

With her grandmother and siblings 
she fled to a foreign land 
They crossed over the border 
to the safe haven of Poland 

At a special charity concert 
she sang once again
This time she performed 
the national anthem of Ukraine 

Confidently she took to the stage 
delighting the silent crowd
“The dear little girl with the beautiful voice”
sang out loud and proud

Through these darkest days of war 
she radiates hope and light
