There are no words

Because words can lead to death

If I let my pen run freely

I will be the next

You will be next

Until, the door is closed

And the audience has left

When women peacefully protesting their hard-earned freedoms, (including freedom of speech) on the streets of Manchester, are manhandled ie. physically assaulted, by masked men who want to silence them; when police officers stand by and refuse to come to their defence, we are in a dark and dangerous place.

A very appropriate piece. Such shocking news, and I do hope the consequences are not so dire as initially reported. Don't understand how someone can be so fanatical.

A sombre moment, David, and a thoughtful poem.
