Insignificant

In a blue summer sky
a whisper of white
In the midnight hour
a flash of starlight

In a winter blizzard
a flake of snow
In a wild hurricane
a puff and blow

In a tropical storm
a drop of rain
In a rock salt mountain
a single grain

In the fields of green
a blade of grass
In a shattered mirror
a shard of glass

In a volcanic burst
a speck of dust
In an ancient shipwreck
a scale of rust

In the atmosphere
a gasp of breath
In the midday sun
a bead of sweat

In the tidal flats
a fleck of mud
In the senseless wars
a drop of blood

A whisper as in trace, was my thoughts. Is a whisper less than a wisp? 😁
