High above the fluffy clouds 
sky blue is streaked with hazy white 
Where cotton wool mountains grow 
and the dazzling sun shines bright 

Below us a snowy carpet
gives the illusion of solid ground  
Melting away as we glide through 
where the dull and grey can be found   

Coming home from holiday
as disheartening as melting snow   
Sun and fun is left far behind 
and now it’s back to life we know
