Another year's about to end 

And a new year to set in 

I sit here jotting everything 

All the loses, tears and blessings 

 

One more year scratched from book of life 

And the approaching year life adds in

Recounting the joy and success 

I achieved while I did no work 

 

This year was an year of rejuvenation 

Resting. Playing, enjoying and eating 

Gathering the lost energies during covid 

Health and fitness my topmost priority 

 

Twenty Twenty two has everything in twos 

My health almost doubled with vigour and vitality 

I've achieved all that I aimed for in Twenty Twenty two 

Double the energy, doubled faith and trust in Almighty 

 

Not all ends are a loss and this is proved in Twenty two 

I lost an year in number but have attained much more in reality 

All the hidden secrets, once lost love, all my happiness 

With year nearing the end, Allah has just all of it doubled 

 

With few more months to go 

We to usher a new tomorrow 

Unfolding all that's to come 

A future filled with bright hopes
