Differently blessed

 

We're all Differently blessed 

But in a way that pleases us 

No one can have everything 

Each of us are deprived in some way 

 

We're all Differently blessed 

And this truth shall sway 

Each day we are tested by Allah almighty 

And Each day miracles flow to us 

 

We're all differently blessed 

And this truth amazes me 

For what I needed the most

Allah blessed me with it 

 

We're all differently blessed 

To each their wishes and desires 

Each of us following our own course 

Receiving exactly what we have worked for 

 

We're all differently blessed 

Some have money, name and fame 

Others may have unshakeable faith 

Still others may have freedom to live anyway 

 

We're all differently blessed 

But these blessings are what we wanted 

Some of us laboured hard and prayed

Others used every means to own their share 

 

We're all differently blessed 

And We're satisfied with what we have 

To some It may seem unjust 

But the owner is happy and prosperous 

 

We're all differently blessed 

So there's no point Envying anyone

For what Others may be blessed with 

May not be my prayer nor my desired wish to have it

 

We're all differently blessed 

We're still working hard to achieve more 

Not everyone is working in the same direction

Because not everyone has same needs nor wants

 

I'm differently blessed and am being blessed everyday

In your eyes I may not be progressing nor happy 

But that's your parameter of life with which you gauge me

My measures are different and am using different instruments
