Words of Wisdom

 

Don’t look in the branches for what’s found in the root,

The peak of the mountain is found from the foot.

And all those who wander may not be lost.

Our profit is built… but not without cost.

At times you may feel your spark may have died,

But seek not in others what lies deep inside.

Distraction, diversion can get you some way,

But live in the pain for some time each day.

Spread seeds of compassion whomever you meet,

Then soften your mirror when yourself you treat.

Smell roses and dwell on the veins of a leaf,

This life is a present, a blessing, a gift.

Take heart each day from what lies in your chest,

Seek not to be perfect, but in context the best.

Stand tall to fill the skin that you’re in,

And float in the turbulent oceans within.

What doesn’t kill you may make you so strong,

Let go of the sides and sing your own song.

Be where you are, not back where you’ve been,

Life is a game to play, not to win.

Keep telling yourself you are safe in the breath,

Your compass keep set towards life, not to death.
