Last Hurrah
My favourite part of autumn
as trees give us their very best
A last hurrah until next year
before they take their winter rest
Natures gold decorates the trees
colours so intense, warm and bright
My eyes dazzle in the wonder
of this fine and impressive sight

I went for a walk the other day along an avenue of trees. Further along the path the colour of the leaves made it look as if someone had turned on a floodlight, it was beautiful.
