December 2022 Collage Poem: The Eternal Caretaker

entry picture

Black Hole grapples with frustration

Human kindness comes calling

As poverty whips our feet from underneath us

And now I say is the winter of our discontent

In unravelled disarticulated bones

Put on your slippers and kill

Spray squidgy on me not acid and I

Shall love you forever bubbles and all.

Go forward to the front

With Motherland yellow sunflower slippers

It’s my birthday, and I’ll wear my

Slippers if I want to.

Lighting up another cigarette in

The toilet, celebrating the end of

Another year.

Chocolate biscuit munching
unwrapped yellow slippers
eight eternal caretaker chairs
no-body left behind
Christmas W.O.L poetry evening
now waits for next year.
