barren trees are coated with a thick crust 
The frozen ground still solid underfoot 
camouflaged by the white glistening dust 

Overlooking the partly frozen lake
The sky blushes in shades of dusky rose 
A sight that is hard to describe with words 
one of nature’s most spectacular shows
