Grounded
Blinded
By a new-found rage
Fuelled by a hatred
For all that he had come to understand
About humans
And this place, once called home,
Corrupted long ago
Tainted by the foulest souls
Who had long since lost their way
Too far gone to be saved
He took to the skies
And unleashed his fury
Unable to control himself
He would destroy it all
But just before he might have done it
He was reminded of a moment in time
When he, too,
Was too young to understand
Juvenile, nothing but a child
And he realized
That's all we are.
Old souls, reincarnated
Here to be reminded of our mistakes
And experience new lives
Each time we die
And find a new life to live.
We are here to love
We are here to share our experiences
To grow, to be alive.
This is no time to be so destructive.
And he grounded himself
But kept his thoughts up there
Among the stars
Lost in the moment
Here in this beautiful place
We will find balance
We will find peace.
Everything dies and changes.

Some great ideas in there. Love 'This is no time to be so destructive'. I'd like to think a reminder to anyone to not waste time on hate.
