Dullen eyes,
thinned skin,
salt 'n' pepper hair.
Droopy jowls,
saggy bags,
who's that there?
Sounds lost,
blighted sight,
thoughts frittered.
Stiffened joints,
unfaked aches,
mind littered.
Once young,
agile, virile,
now neglected.
forgotten youth,
decrepit exhibit
Mirror reflected.
The agile interested mind is the engine that ensures an ongoing
lively existence when the years obtain the price exacted on the
rest! 👍
This made me picture the character (it reminded me of my grandfather). Rich in description and imagery.
