A letter dropped through my post box the other day, it was addressed to The Occupier,

so I forwarded it to Benjamin Netanyahu (C/o UK and USA).

We want...

What do we want?

Armistice!

We want it now,

In our thousands,

in our millions,

we are all

Palestinians.

Sir Kid starver

backs kid killing,

put up

shut up

no more.

We want...

what do we want?

a cease fire,

to honour the dead

and save the living.

We want...

what do we want?

cease fire!

stop the killing

from the river

to the sea,

Muslim Jew

And Christian too,

must be free

to live in peace

live in peace and harmony!

Stephen, sorry, but when I hear a truly Jewish, English, Scowse, working-class stand up comedian taking the proverbial, and confirming all my long-held suspicions about a politician, I get a delicious sense of schadenfreude.

I admire the flow and the passion of this piece of writing. However, I can't agree with some of the content and I feel that denigrating a decent man like Kier Starmer will get us nowhere.
Having said that, it's always good to hear your point of view, so eloquently expressed.

How about "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make
it drink"? An age-old reminder that reasoned responses are not
always on offer from certain mindsets that do not always think
along rational "live and let live" lines.
