13 days in the spotlight...13 days of fame.

Ringo's replacement, Jimmie Nicol his name.

Jimmie looked the part, with a new hairstyle.

He even wore Ringo Starr's suits for a while!

 

He sat in the Limo next to Paul and John.

His World turned upside down, from day one.

Screaming girls, wanted a piece of him.

And the TV camera's on Jimmie zoomed in.

 

Press conferences to the World, broadcast .

For a brief 13 days, Jimme's fame would last.

Jimme left one morning, no goodbye to say.

And all his headlines disappeared that day.

 

For 13 days, he was a member of the Fab 4.

Then his world returned to how it was before.

Obscurity for Jimme, was the next port of call.

Nobody really remembers those 13 days at all.

 

(Jimmie returned home one morning and didn't want to wake up the other Beatles on leaving. Jimmie never saw or heard from them again, and he never cashed in those13 days of fame....all a bit sad really)
