The hidden enemy
The devil is always at work,
Relentlessly seeking those who resist,
He despises the ones who don't befriend him,
Always yearning for their souls to persist.
He tirelessly schemes, with twisted delight,
Creating rifts between family and friends,
Planting seeds of discord and discordance,
In every encounter, his malevolence extends.
The devil is relentless, pursuing your life,
Until you succumb and serve his wicked ways,
He entices you to follow his desires,
To live in darkness, a monster's forlorn maze.
He won't relent, not until his last breath,
For he knows his destination is Hell,
And now he beckons you to join his quest,
To journey to the abyss where he fell.
The devil hates you, oh how he envies,
Anyone who serves another with devotion,
He loathes when you honor and obey,
Anyone else's orders, it stirs his emotion.
Always lurking, the devil hides behind,
The facade of a friend, deceivingly fair,
Stealing your joy and serenity,
Until you surrender to his snare.
In the shadows, the devil lies in wait,
Ready to strike when you lose your way,
When you drift into unconsciousness,
He'll drag you into his den of dismay.
Beware, my friend, be wary and wise,
For the devil's snares are cleverly spun,
But in the light, his power is vanquished,
And in goodness and love, true victory is won.
