Manifestations

To know me, you need to know Allah,

For it is He who orchestrates it all,

I am merely what His will desires me to be.

You may try to comprehend me,

But even I, in all my failings, struggle to understand myself,

Each day, Allah gifts me a new iteration of who I am.

Allah knows best, what I require and when,

He guides my every step accordingly,

And thus, you witness a fresh incarnation of me.

You cannot predict my thoughts or words,

I am like the weather, ever-changing under Allah's guidance,

Even I cannot foretell what fate holds for me, today or tomorrow.

None can claim dominion over me, save the Almighty,

He acts as He deems necessary,

And I, as an obedient servant, follow Him joyfully.

Cease wasting time, attempting to decipher me needlessly,

Instead, bow your head, beseech Allah, and follow Him alone,

For He will bless you with what you truly require.

These manifestations are mere illusions,

The mind is powerless on its own, a whimsical fantasy,

Whatever Allah bestows upon us becomes a tangible reality.

Prayers are the pathway to success,

Be it in this world or in the realm beyond,

So humbly converse with Allah, and He will resolve all your troubles, as only He can.

Explanation of the above poem

The poem expresses a deep sense of submission to a higher power, presumably Allah, as the speaker believes that their identity and purpose are determined by divine will. The speaker acknowledges their own limitations and inability to fully comprehend themselves, let alone be predicted or controlled by others. The speaker urges the listener to abandon attempts at understanding them and instead focus on their relationship with Allah, as it is He who holds the key to true understanding and fulfillment.

The speaker's unpredictability and ever-changing nature are attributed to Allah's guidance, and they describe themselves as an obedient servant who follows Allah's lead joyfully. The poem suggests that only through devotion to Allah and prayer can one find success in both this world and the afterlife.

In essence, the poem serves as a call to faith and submission, emphasizing the importance of trusting in a higher power to navigate the complexities of existence. The speaker's perspective reflects a deeply held belief in the divine order of things, and their words are meant to inspire others to find solace and direction in their own spiritual journeys.
