What Flowers Know
My thoughts, difficult sometimes,
compete with the flowers all about me,
offering their hues to the sun above.
The petals seem to understand
small wonders can be anywhere,
and attempt to share their wisdom
in bracing fields, in every shade of bloom.

Thanks Mike.
Such beauty in the simplicity and fragility of flowers. I remember our picnicking on Sundays as children in a local farmer's field surrounded by buttercups and bluebells-sheer heaven!
