Listening to a Woman of 103 Years of Age

There is an old woman

who lives in a desert town

who has reached the amazing age of 103.

She was an m.d. by profession and pioneered a holistic approach.

I watched her being interviewed on a video podcast.

"What do you find inspiring about humankind in your 100 plus years of being here?"

the interviewer asked her.

"Why this," she responded, "that we can be talking together, like this."

"What are your practices that have allowed you to live so long?"

he queried.

"Love," she said, "it's love. I wake up in the morning and think, oh good, another day. I love life."

"Life is movement," she continued, "everything has to move to be alive."

"I walk with a walker. A few days ago I fell and broke 3 ribs. But they healed. Things heal."

So simple.

Connection.

Love.

Movement.

Healing.

She made me smile.

The interviewer kept saying "beautiful, that's beautiful," as she shared her thoughts.

I felt the same way.

Beautiful.

The lady's name is Dr. Gladys McGarey. If you google her name, alot of interviews pop up. I listened to an interview on https://youtu.be/FvUral0ehwY?si=IPz3-dRjVShZqZVx (an off-the-wall, "woo-woo" podcast channel, but fun.) Enjoy, Manish!

This is so beautiful and wholesome. It'd be great if you could share the link of the podcast here, Hélène!
