Sunlight burst upon the horizon

Exploding like lightening in a storm

Light fell upon the earth like rain

And soaked into our exposed skin

The warmth ran in little rivulets

From my hair and across my face

The sunlight tasted sweet like honey

And sounded like music in the wind
