Bonfire
Breaking heart is a doddle to some,
Some go along with the hum,
Their tune is unpleasantly cold,
And is worldwide sung and sold.
A road that leads to nowhere,
You will find me walking there
With the great hope of a reunion;
Beyond the hill lives my companion.
I walk with a shunned ray above me,
But a fire inside my shelled heart,
And so, warmth comes easy
To let love play it's crucial part.
The flame of my lover ever ignites,
No other beam matches her light,
Amongst the blues', the only gold,
Like a bonfire in the world of cold.
My journey might have no destination,
But that doesn't give me hesitations,
Even if my hand isn't the one she holds,
I will be her bonfire in the world of cold.
