Endless Ease

entry picture

A week old sapling

Almost weakens out of thirst

When a newly formed cloud bursts,

I, amongst all the other observants

Tend to look at it tenderly,

And learn that I'm in that

Selfless place where an individual

Or a group of considered minimalists

Do, and give, and never ask,

Even when it was never

Their scheduled task.

I rest my head

In this endless ease,

Laying my restless mind

To a moment of peace,

Where I see, hear and feel

All, but none of my kind.

And from an unfathomable height,

An unidentified creature

With blithesome composure,

Freezes it's eyes with mine

For an encapsulating while

Before carrying on with the breeze.

I take that glimpse along with me,

As I, unburdened, close my eyes

In this endless ease,

And remember another's,

Who was pleased to see me

In proximity with peace.

The calmness of clarity and the assurance peace provides is a beautiful thing, Manish
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Manish,
your poem seems to descibe a feeling of calm, peace and oneness / atonement with the world.
