Belief Structure
In the garden of Eden, a choice was made,
Adam took responsibility, a path was laid.
God said, "Go forth, find your own way,"
And so, our realities began to sway.
We're all part of Adam's story, a tale so grand,
With two paths to choose from, love or sex in hand.
Love offers depth, illusion, and freedom from need,
Sex, a world of requirements, where desires proceed.
Our belief structures shape the world we see,
A thief suspects theft, a liar, dishonesty.
The clever seek reasons, the caring, purpose true,
Materialists chase profit, spiritual seekers, goodness pursue.
Kindness finds applause, immaturity, short-sighted views,
Maturity sees the long game, nonsense, meaninglessness accrues.
Thinkers find progress, pessimists, negative fate,
Optimists, hope and light, in every step, create.
Perceptions and beliefs, a reality shared,
Yet differently perceived, by each individual's gaze.
Reactions trigger destinies, unique to each soul,
A world of diverse realities, forever whole.
