Love and Hate. (What is the Difference)

 

What is the difference between love and hate, are they different because I find it impossible to separate.

Powerful feelings that gradually take control, all inhabiting and consuming leaving you nowhere to go.

Dictating your moods and all their swings, mixed and conflicting emotions they always seem to bring.

Slowly eradicating the inner sanctum of calm and common sense, converting the mildest problems to the ones most tense.

Your thoughts no longer become your own, hammering all your fears and insecurities home.

The ability to function normally and detect the truth, detect a blatant lie, friend or foe, all these abilities appear to desert you.

Your vision is hindered by the constant appearance of emotional smoke; they drive negativity and encourage you to abandon hope.

Slowly but surely, they drive you insane, no longer allowing you to be the man you can. Confusion replaces logic, living in a world you no longer understand.

All-consuming driving you to think like you have never thought before, and just as you think you are getting a handle of them, they push you a little bit more.

I can't tell the difference they appear to be the same, the only difference that I can tell is the name.
