Metamorphosis
In the velvet-draped coffin of deceit,
Humanity's soul slowly suffocates,
Tech's icy kiss freezes our hearts of stone,
And fake smiles mask the rot that's grown.
Life's a masquerade ball, where we don disguise,
Masks of perfection hiding our true demise.
Society's puppeteer pulls strings of shame,
And we dance, robotic, with scripted claim.
Self-awareness flickers, a dying spark,
As we devour the lies that leave their mark.
A chameleon's heart, with truth astray,
We wear hypocrisy's crown, night and day.
