Glitters

I am a soul

The beauty of the form you see in me is glitter

Even the title that clings to me is part of the glitter

I layer it piece by piece

Shaping myself into what you see

That is the temporary me

I am a soul,

That you cannot truly know my true form

There may be times when I fall short of your hopes

I am not entirely good,

Yet that doesn’t mean I am evil

Just know it’s not part of the glitter I put on

And that is called the real me,

I am a soul

Who is a servant of the Creator

I will make a report to Him

I create it in my mind

And the output is stored in my heart

That is the real me,

Which can only be seen by Him

I am just a soul owned by the Creator,

The me you see is the self that places glitter on a body that is only temporary
