Something sinister was seen floating by.

A balloon with teeth was seen in the sky.

The balloon was white, just like a shroud.

It looked down on children from a cloud.

The balloon was looking for children to bite.

It was a Halloween balloon intent to fright!

The balloon pretended it wanted to play.

Suddenly the balloon saw Molly and May!

The Halloween balloon, its teeth it bared.

Molly and May ran away, very very scared!

They ran and ran until they got safely home.

The scariest Halloween, they’d ever known!

The Scary Party Balloon

I saw a balloon in the shape of an ‘8’

Outside Chester Zoo, I saw it wait.

This was a nasty balloon, I could tell

It had scary eyes and teeth as well!

Birthday children, it wanted to bite.

Being afraid, I held Harper’s hand tight!

The balloon, it came looking for me.

As my birthday badges, it could see!

The balloon chased us around The Zoo.

I was frightened, and Harper was too!

A brave Chimp soon came to our aid.

He scared it off and our escape we made!

 

Molly, May and Harper are real people who did go to Chester Zoo last week for Molly's 8th birthday treat, May is Molly's Mum and Harper is Molly's best friend, they are all my friends.
