The history of rock
And so, in the vastness of the ether, it rises
From the primordial silence, a resonant sound,
Like thunder that splits the distant skies,
The voice of the Infinite is born, unbound!
No longer the void, nor the endless shadow,
But the living flame, the fire burning bright,
In the dawn of the cosmos, a mighty song,
Where life and death in dance unite.
In the womb of the earth, the first cry,
Made of stars and lightning, it rang,
Like the storm that blows through the wind,
A thunderous force, the earth did bang.
It was the sound of creation, pure and vast,
Echoing deep in the hearts of men,
And the soul of the earth, like a flowing stream,
Felt the divine power stir again.
And man, then rising, proud and bold,
With fingers that touched the sky’s own cord,
Made music his primal, ancient song,
Like fire that rends the veil with sword.
Oh, what energy! What fierce force!
Where once was chaos, now harmony grows,
And music, divine, in the heart it flows,
A pulse of power that forever knows.
Let the rhythm rise, the order declared,
Like the hammer that shapes our fate,
And the sound, as wild as the wind's own howl,
Destroyed the silence, and opened the gate.
Each chord, each note, a thunder’s roar,
Ripping the heavens and touching the core,
On land, in sea, through fire and air,
Man and cosmos, united in prayer.
And so, in the vast infinity of time,
Music is born, eternal, divine,
From a being who, with fervor and zeal,
Calls the abyss with the sound of his horn.
Let the rhythm rise, and let the sound guide,
With the force of creation to lead the way,
For in the heart of man burns a flame,
That shall never die, but forever stay.
