Cat
I don't know much
But I do know that
There's nothing quite like
The love of a cat
People think they're indifferent
And assume that means cold
But there's a warmth in being seen
From behind a blindfold
They're don't care about
What makes you feel small
To them you're still
Just as tall
If you come home from work
Not wanting to be tough
Well, they don't expect you to be
You're already enough
And they'll offer you the comfort
Of giving THEM a pat
Because it's almost like
They intuitively know that
To give love is to feel love
When you get it right back
In the form of a purr
Or a playful whack
