Someone Else's Dream
Towards the far corner,
An alluring kaleidoscopic spark
Catches my attention, and
Besides the growing tension,
I hear a known voice.
An out-of-the-world precipise
Presents a familiar figure
Who could overwhelm my heart.
Her unsurprised, unmoved eyes
Jesture that I was expected.
A gluesome lump in my throat
Lets the feeling float in silence
As she rows to capture it,
The mutuality of adorance
Precipitates a smile on her face.
In this heavenly wide space,
I leave no memorable traces
That'd let me revert back,
And neither does she hold back
The beautiful, forgettable firsts.
The first stutter of flirty line
Before I could call her mine,
The first flutter of romantic veil
Before the florid ship of love
Could begin it's eternal sail;
And I say, 'curtain the loud,
Awakening beam, for I am still
Awake in someone else's dream;
Silence the rooster's scream, for I'm
Still sound in someone's dream.
