To Akshita,

You are my cousin, but those words don’t define
The bond we share, rare and divine.
More than family, you’re my truest friend,
A place where my chaos finds its end.

In childhood, you stood a little apart,
But time wove you deeply into my heart.
You didn’t play, we were just two names,
Yet now, we are one in life’s vast games.

Now you’re the one who sees my soul,
In my brokenness, you make me whole.
You’ve walked with me through my darkest nights,
Your presence turning shadows to light.

No one gets me the way you do,
No one hears my silence like you.
You hold my stories, my wildest schemes,
You guard my fears, you fuel my dreams.

When the world turns cold, and I feel alone,
Your voice reminds me I’m never on my own.
You’ve heard the stories I barely share,
You’ve held my heart with infinite care.

In my loneliness, your presence was loud,
In my joy, you were the proudest crowd.
You clap so loud that I forget who’s not,
You see my worth when even I forgot.

What I am, Akshita, is because you stayed,
Through my doubts, my wounds, the mess I made.
Your laughter mends, your presence inspires,
You’re the flame that fuels my inner fires.

Your presence alone makes the world feel bright,
Your existence, a beacon in the darkest night.
With you beside me, no mountain’s too steep,
No dream too distant, no wound too deep.

You deserve the stars, the moon, the sky,
Yet life’s been tough, and I wonder why.
But through it all, you remain the same,
A pillar of strength, burning like a flame.

I don’t say it often, but please don’t forget,
You’re my greatest blessing, my soul’s duet.
Not just my cousin, but my closest kin,
The one who lifts me, time and again.

So here’s my heart in these humble lines,
A piece of my soul, where your love shines.
Akshita, my rock, my truest part,
Forever my sister, my home, my heart.
