Silicon Words

I use ChatGPT and the likes, only for some quick resolutions. But to try something new I gave it a prompt to pen an original verse. It did do everything I said, and more ... even had a conversation interlaced with humour, light. It answered introspective questions, and tried to guess my profession, and repeated question resulted in the same answer - the poem was not plagiairsm.

I did not copy, as those were not my words. The ones which follow - not as wonderful and and overwhelming are Human Generated.

The chat bot guides

Through links and files,

The program corrects,

Our virtual defects.

As we speak, so does it

As we see, it sees it fit

                 AI does as we bid

Within its words our echoes hid.

But the new AI seems unknown

Displaying what was never shown

It makes poems and essays on its own

Just give keywords, the form and the tone.

At this rate we just might

Lose our will to read and write

Our words might scream and fight

But drown in the bright AI light

AI was supposed to be better FOR us!

But will it become better THAN us?
