Advice from fallen angels

In a conference of murderers

who can you trust?

All those knives

all those lies

In an alliance of economies

where do you bank?

No place of residence

no character reference

With your back to the wall

you have only fists, feet and teeth

You fight with no rules

because they made the rules

When you're betrayed and hung out

you have nowhere to turn

When your rights mean their victory

do you recognise theirs?

And those who stand in appeasement

to feather their own cowardice

do they believe their reward will come soon

when the weak are so easily culled?

The conference of murderers

is an omen foretold

Murder will no longer be murder

if killing is not done

So ready your armour disown all goodwill

mark well your targets and kill fucking kill...

Thank you all for the likes on this one.

I suspect some might find the final line a little jarring. I am not a pacifist although I have in the past given it a great deal of thought.

I believe there comes a time when to defend decent human values of equality and respect for all is necessary. Unfortunately such resolve often means abandoning basic human values of not killing. This is not something I say lightly as I abhour violence.

Any escalation toward murderous conflict needs to be mananged with the wisdom of Solomon, it seems we are short on Solomon's wisdom at this time.

That's seems very true Graham, at least one moron has made himself available. Let us hope that the dynamic of "The Kings New Clothes" begins to fade.

I fear that some will never recognise a moron, even if that moron exposes himself for all to see.

When a catalyst is needed, one often appears. Often that catalyst is a moron.
