Heart On My Sleeve ❤️

entry picture

I wear my heart on my sleeve
I really want to believe
I wear my heart on my sleeve
No more do I want to grieve
I wear my heart on my sleeve

I wasn't looking for affection
But we made a connection
I looked deep into your eyes
They smiled at me to my surprise
In an instant feelings did flow
And the love it did grow

I wear my heart on my sleeve
Why did you have to leave
I wear my heart on my sleeve
The future I just can't conceive
I wear my heart on my sleeve

You and me together forever
Torn apart we will be never
Against the world just you and me
A bright future as far as I can see
Plans we made to travel and explore
Happy as can be couldn't ask for more

I wear my heart on my sleeve
An outcome I will achieve
I wear my heart on my sleeve
Salvation let me receive
I wear my heart on my sleeve

Everthing was going so well
Tragedy it arrived who could tell
Your life was about to be taken
My whole world was shaken
Your light and spirit live forever on
Even though your gift of life has gone

I wear my heart on my sleeve
You are watching over me
I wear my heart on my sleeve
You have set my spirit free
I wear my heart on my sleeve
