On the Wall Again

I tried to learn how to do Google calendar,

I really did.

I mean it looks like so much fun,

you touch an email invite tab,

and voilà the event shows up like magic on the phone calendar.

I mean wow.

Or you and your BFF reach for your phones

and touch the little calendar picture

and voilà you've set a coffee date.

So efficient, so simple!

But I'm sorry it all fell apart when I tried to automatically calendar all my grandkid's spring season little league games.

Couldn't find the magic feature that would make this happen (why is there no team snap app sync option in my calendar settings!!??##**).

I tried and tried and tried again,

going deeper and deeper into digital land,

settings for this, settings for that,

things started getting fuzzy...

font too small to read...

entries appearing and disappearing...

What?

Did I just automatically send something to all my contacts?

..............!!??##**

Nah.

Nothing bad happened,

but eyes weary, fingers tired.

Gave up.

Put phone down.

Sauntered over to wall calendar.

Picked up pencil.

Ahhhh, the gentle feel of paper, pencil, eraser (mistakes, you know).

Not efficient, but just as fun.
