Poetry Masterclass with Matt Abbott (available now!)

entry picture

Third and final in our masterclass series, is Matt Abbott's workshop in which he provides a number of triggers for writing about personal history, ones that get attendees re inspired to  jot down a few lines that could lead to substantial poems.

Matt's follows the masterclasses of Anthony Anaxagorou and Caroline Bird (see Youtube links below), all still free for you to use, though we are always grateful if you make a donation if you can afford it, using the link on Youtube or our social media. We'd appreciate feedback by commenting on the YouTube. See all three embedded in this article, below.

These sessions were originally produced for Write Out Loud by Matt Abbott, a successful poet in his own right, as well as poetry producer, organiser and much-in-demand teacher.

There's probably enough time before the competition's 11 April deadline to use Matt's workshop as stimulus from which to produce a winning, or anthology-worthy poem for Write Out Loud's 20th anniversary competition. They will be removed after the deadline.
