Just That, The Sea is Too Deep...

As the sun begins to head toward its rest,
The waves hurriedly release their kiss,
Not much time is left, it fears.

Should I say "yes" or leave?
Just that, the sea is too deep,
I fear I might disappear into its depths.

Should I wait for the morning to come?
So that I can get the light to make a move.
No, should I learn to swim?
More time is needed, but I might be able to conquer its depths.

Dear Yanma,

I love how your poem captures the tension between fear and courage in the face of the unknown. The imagery of the deep sea is powerful, and the way you express the internal struggle between waiting for clarity and taking a leap is so relatable. It's a poignant reflection on both uncertainty and the potential for growth. Well done!

Take care,
regards,
Rolph
