A Quiet Strength

When tempers flare and voices rise,
It’s wise to breathe, not moralise.
A quiet word can cool the flame,
While shouting only spreads the blame.

When someone mocks or plays unfair,
Step back – don’t answer with a stare.
For digging traps for someone’s fall
Might lead you to your own downfall.

If rumours swirl and trust is thin,
Let honesty speak from within.
Your name is worth more than your gold—
Protect it gently, firm and bold.

A friend who listens when you break
Is rarer than the risks you take.
But truest is the one who stands
Beside you when the sky disbands.

You need not win in every fight;
Sometimes the strength is not in might.
To walk away, to let things slide—
Is often when we stand with pride.

When life feels rushed or full of fear,
Remind yourself: the way is clear.
Not all you hear is worth your breath,
Not every slight is life or death.

A fool will talk to fill the space,
The wise will pause and give you grace.
Don’t race to speak or need to shine—
Respect is earned in simpler line.

If envy whispers, 'They have more,'
Remember what you’re working for.
Peace in a room with humble bread
Beats conflict served with gold instead.

"Revenge may seem to ease your pain,
But leaves you with a deeper strain.
Let justice live where silence grows,
And plant your truth where kindness flows."

Make plans, but hold them with some grace,
For life may shift the time and place.
Yet those who act and don’t delay
Are closer to a better day.

When hardship knocks and joy is thin,
Don’t curse the door—just let life in.
The road is hard, the path unclear,
But morning follows every tear.

You will be tested—this is true.
By lazy days and liars too.
But let your word be sharp and clean,
And hold your ground—yet not your spleen.

A loyal friend, a softened tone,
A day begun before your phone,
A task well done, though none may see—
These form the roots of dignity.

So live not loud, but wisely still,
And do what good you can—and will.
For every seed of grace you sow
May bloom where you may never know.
