This was my Sun Day.

In company of two fine friends.

Bus ride for a driver,

actually viewing the scenery.

Chit chat stroll and coffees.

Fine silver sand,

rock pools in rocks.

Peer, gaze and search.

Stroll along,

photograph,

and rest atop a rock mound.

It was a fine day

with fine friends.

Only just found this and really like it. The other commenters have got it right.

Thanks for your comment on my Freedom piece which was a good laugh. Er....you weren't serious were you?

Certainly not rubbish Crackling, a rare gift of being able to take the reader along with you to share a moment in time.

I really like this too, it is simple yet says so much, a happy little piece.

It's charming, and sincere, and captures the mood of contentment. What else do you ask of poetry? The 'driver actually enjoying the scenery' is a great touch.
