My Afternoon at the Hospital

I have read each and every notice

On the x-ray department walls.

I wish I’d brought a book to read

While waiting for my calls.

One call to come have an x-ray,

Another to find if it took,

I’ve been in here an hour,

Oh, why didn’t I bring a book?

But then just think how bored I’d be

Without this ode to compose.

I should have brought pen and paper

To write my silly prose!

Now in another waiting room

For my appointment, what a bore.

But now I have new posters to read,

God, I do hope I don’t snore!

Lol, Stef!
You are right, Ann, not sure how come I left them at home! Thanks for concern, dear friends. No, nothing too worrying, just a bunion on each foot that need removing. (Not looking forward to it though, apart from the time off afterwards!) Thanks both, Love, Lynn xx

Always take a notepad and pen wherever you go Lynn! (And I hope the x ray wasn't for anything worrying.) xx
