Our stars looked down upon them with fondness and delight

The evening witness to this wonderous hour pre midnight 

Colours seeking such magnificence gaining the rivers gaze

Like shining hearts of heaven streaming through the haze

Streaked honey shone down through the water

Their reflections imply no waiting in this quarter

Sapphire blue horizon peers over the burning night

Still blue waters drink in the shore born light

Two boats coupled like lovers drink in the tranquil scene

Moored near the bank coloured in mottled green
