Poetry is like marriage
Poetry is like marriage
A random meeting and love is in the air
You must show off your artistic flair
You'll remember that very night
Where words on paper was a beautiful sight
As the days and months go on
Your love for it becomes so strong
Linked together, it's a marriage
A fairytale, the whole thing, including horse and carriage
Then it starts to get a little sour
You start to fight over power
You want access to the words that pay
And you don't have the patience, you want it today
And that is when you get the divorce letter
Poetry says she can find someone else better
To finalise this, she gets an injunction, it's called writers block
She's gone, it's written in stone and rock
