A dedication, to a friend I had hoped to meet, but it wasn't to be.

04.04.2011 - 2) When I reach the Appalachian Mountain range

It's there my trip will have to change

Cos' a friend e mailed me to say

She won't be home while May

Sadly like many you see

She's a victim of ME

And although there is care

For some it has to be elsewhere

So being an adaptable man

I'll simply rearrange the plan

And hope that it will not have been in vain

Hoping in the future to come back again

And my arrival won't be so dowdy

When we meet and finally say "Howdy"
