Obligation

 Obligation

It's an obligation
Much to my frustration
That I succumb to your needs
And follow where you lead
I even have slight admiration
For how you led me to isolation
So only you I would have
Through good times but never bad
Entering my thoughts
In a net I'm caught
Tangled and distressed
But how wierd, I tried my best
And now I've got your attention
It's an unrequited obssession
As you watch what you've destroyed
Which once was a mothers joy
As I feed off your reactions
A one way latching

Hi Charlene, thanx for comment on my dating poem, glad you liked it. Just read your obligation poem, enjoyed it, think we've all been through this at some time, best wishes Jeff
